Char James-Tanny
Char is president of JTF Associates, Inc., and has more than 25 years of experience as a technical writer. She is well known in the Help community for her knowledge of online Help tools and concepts. She speaks frequently at conferences around the world on Help topics, cross-browser issues, and tool-specific functionality. Char has written two books on RoboHelp and numerous articles. Along with Brenda Huettner and Kit Brown, she co-authored Managing Virtual Teams: Getting the Most from Wikis, Blogs, and Other Collaborative Tools, published in January 2007 by Wordware Publishing.
Char created the original Help Authoring Tool (HAT) Comparison Matrix, which was available from 2001 until November 2006.
